  • You just can't beat another Maple's Squirrel and Sam's Son grand baby. Diamonte displays her "diamond" as a single star on the forehead. She also has a touch of white on the right coronet band. Otherwise, this gal is chocolate all the way with the most beautiful thick white mane and tail. Dia is very gentle, very sweet and very relaxed. Each time you call, Dia doesn't hesitate to greet you with those big brown eyes that say, "I wanna be loved by you..." Since birth, this beautiful yearling has gaited with a perfect four beat cadence.

Diamonte recently took 2nd Place in Junior Conformation at the 2009 International Rocky Mountain Horse Show

Diamonte just underwent saddle training and qualifies as a show horse. She will start her show career in 2010.

Dia is going to the 2010 World Equestrian Games. These horse games represent many of the world's top riders and most skilled horses, who compete over 16 days. Lexington Horse Park projects over 600,000 spectators for the games this year, many of them international visitors. In a gait and conformation evaluation, RMHA judges scored Dia 3rd of 21 horses! Out of 60 points, she took a 56! She will be one of 8 chocolate horses with flaxen mane & tail to do a quadrille and one of 12 horses (various colors) to represent the Rocky Mountain horse breed. Dia has been under saddle since December 2009 and we are proud of her selection to represent the breed.
